Now I could go to the /mod folder and probably copy/paste the text inside the files in case you do end up getting those programs. Keep in mind, those programs only allow you to open the original file and then repack them (backing up the originals ofc). I don't recall where I got the programs, but I don't think it was at siegetheday. Anyway, I recall using it to adjust the mod files from DS2 for both drops and inventory (for more pages). I'm going by memory, so don't quote me on the file name extensions lol. I recall there's a couple of programs called tank view and tank creator or some name along those lines that let you edit. If you should happen to find a way to access the mods on siegetheday, please post to this thread. They have only a few mods that I could find. Note that on the official GPG map(s) it will be necessary to explicitly activate this mod in-game - there will be a button on the tresor/stash to do this.Īnyway, since such mods seriously interfere with the game mechanics it would be a good idea to make manual backups of the savegames - you never know. The LevelAdjustment Mod could do this (some lower on that modding page). One way to 'fix' this is to upgrade/increase the levels of monsters and containers. Now if somebody is 'over-levelled' with a much higher level than the monsters it can be a bit frustrating finding an item one possilbly would wish to have it found already several hours earlier. (.actually these mods also have a project page on, but there seem to be some troubles currently!?)īascially however the level of a dropped item depends in DS2 on the level of the monster/container it is dropping from. If interested, check Google for: "Aranna Legacy" site: Right from the beginning the 'level bandwidth' within items could drop was quite large in DS2, and it was one of the early tunings/fixes in the Hotfix / Aranna Legacy Mod to lower the chance to get e.g.
